Excellent. I made a necessary journey today and enjoyed my GS. On Wednesday, I think a short trip somewhere scenic is definitely in order.richtel wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 7:01 pm^^ Brilliant, that works for me! Happy couple of hours on the GS this morning, with a gentle ride out to the edge of the Peak District...
A few degrees cooler when you get a few hundred feet above sea level...
Also the first real opportunity to test my Innovv K2 cameras. Obviously, these are intended as "evidence" cameras but they do provide reasonable stills:
Next task is probably to reposition the camera to avoid the BMW beak - if possible.

^^ Looks great! Many bikers on the roads? That road looks deserted.

I saw about 8 bikes - spread across the 60-odd miles I travelled. Most were solo (old blokes on adventure bikes, or maybe that was a mirror!) but I did see three guys who appeared to be travelling together, which is probably flouting the "rules" somehow.

Happy to have got out this afternoon for the first quick jaunt of the year. Lots of bikes on the roads, much nodding and waving going on suggesting they might have been taking advantage of a glorious afternoon also. Got home with a big smile on my face and much local wildlife stuck to the screen.

Didn’t stop to find out, scooter, although I did notice the guy turn his van around to go and retrieve it. As Rich said, it was probably just another fragile parcel for Hermes.scooter wrote:Anything in it worth keeping?

I was slightly disappointed as I had high hopes of a lady standing up to flash you.
