Re: Loupe #17
I actually really like this but admit im not altogether sure why...
As i found the 41mm c65 GMT with SS bezel a bit small I will probably count this out on size alone.

Re: Loupe #17
When I spoke to Mike France and Adrian Buchman in November they were very proud of the technical achievements CW had made with the sapphire dials. CW are a leader in this field. I really like the design, Now I just have to figure out what to sell...

I like this a lot more than I thought I would. I hate skeleton watches, but this brings something different to the table. The date wheel is turning me off a bit - maybe a different date complication (or no date) would appeal to me more. Overall, though, I like it. Would like a 42mm varient at some point as well. Overall, though - a very creative idea and I see lots of potential! Kudos to CW!

There’s a picture of the new C60 Chronograph in the magazine. It looks rather good.
Trying not to buy any more watches...

Promo code is 100SUN20. Though when I applied it to the new C60 Sapphire it only gave a £55 discount.

Re: Loupe #17
Changed the settings in my account a couple of months back to receive online copy of Loupe.
Physical copy turned up this morning
I know it's free, but given CW is a bit of a watch enthusiasts brand, does anybody else find the amount of non-watch related content slightly frustrating?
Anyhow, minor issues aside ... that bi-compax C60 looks the dogs doodahs!! Absolutely fantastic
I'm starting to get excited about CW for the first time in a good while.
Shame it's all in the middle of a s**t storm

Re: Loupe #17
Very surprised to read Mike France saying that the Moonglow has "actually become our best-selling single watch”. I know there are a crazy number of versions of the C60 but still surprised. Perhaps he's talking specifically about a timeframe since it was released?
Bi-compax looks interesting, but too expensive for my tastes:

Re: Loupe #17
If he does mean that the moonglow is there outright best seller then i suggest its a bit of marketing guff for 'please buy this watch as we want you to think that everyone else thinks its amazing' same as when then put the slow selling 316 models in the best selling bit on the website even though they were limited in production numbers.sproughton wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 12:53 pm Very surprised to read Mike France saying that the Moonglow has "actually become our best-selling single watch”. Re: Loupe #17
The "guff" (so eloquently put) is a great description of what puts me off CW at the moment, even given some great recent designs.
