Great view Richard.

Where about in the Peak District? I'm going up there for the weekend in a couple of weeks.

It’s just a few miles outside of Buxton, Guy, on the Staffs/Derbyshire border. The road you can see in the view is the A54 towards Congleton.

Cheers, Richard.

Interesting looking road; the A54 that is.

Yet another ride to the Ball (right of centre on the top of the hill) and getting closer to my time goal.

It’s a rubbish view, but the bike has been at Triumph having a fuel leak repaired for 4 weeks, and before that it was at Dream Machine Super Paint for a month being resprayed! I’ve only had it in my possession for 3 weeks in the last 3 months!!!

I collected her from Chesterfield today and rode home - it’s just nice having the old girl back where she belongs

Thanks Scooter  This years she's had a full factory restoration respray, forks rebuilt, the minor leaking fuel tank resolved and an insanely unsociable carbon fibre DanMoto MotoGP style can fitted plus I have a new carbon fibre effect rear hugger to go on - definitely a keeper and is going nowhere!

That respray was well worth the waiting time.

It looks brilliant.

What year is it by the way?

It's a '00 - just coming up to 34k on the clocks. I wasn't aware, but Dream Machine Super Paint were the original company who sprayed the older Triumph bikes until their own paint shop was up and running, so they would likely have painted the panels in the first place! And I can only agree with it being worth the wait/cost.
