Is that reaction because you’ve seen the price.........
Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

That is certainly svelte. You get less and less for your money nowadays.

Fortunately/unfortunately I'm skint at the mo, so need to be selling rather than buying (or dreaming of buying) watches at the moment.
Fortunately/unfortunately that doesn't seem to be stopping me dreaming. In fact I'm at almost-pulling-the-trigger stage on a watch today. I guess that's addiction for you.

Erm.... chronograph with GMT function (not just 24-hour repeater).
I'm looking at Sinn, Omega, Chopard, possibly Breitling and looking for others to consider. I'm not looking at Rolex, Invicta or anything digital or battery operated.
It might be older - such as an Omega Flightmaster, it might be newer - such as the current Sinn range.
I'm okay with deep case sizes. I'd consider commissioning the swapping the movement out of a 7750 chrono and transplanting a 7754 movement.

Only one option for me in that category - Bremont Worldtimer ALT1-WT. Stunning watch in my opinion.tikkathree wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 10:29 am Erm.... chronograph with GMT function (not just 24-hour repeater).

You've added to my list of options: I think that's a help, thank you .TigerChris wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 11:29 amOnly one option for me in that category - Bremont Worldtimer ALT1-WT. Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
I do like the new blue version. I tried on the original releases of both the CC and the simple three hander. I liked the size and shape of the case and thought it looked less formal than typical VC dress watches. A good thing from my perspective. However the one I prefer is the day date, which I didn’t get to try on at the time. Neil

Guess I'll torture myself with this for a while today
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…
