Disapointed..? Or ceramic bracelet?

Post by AdamRobinson1982 »

:(

So got the white womens Rapide on white leather for the GF for valentines day...

She has worn it once (sat night) for about 2 hrs and the strap is all black already not the underneath but the top...

Is it going back under 60:60? Probably as if it looks like this after 2 hrs il be changing the strap on a weekly basis...

Or does anyone know if i could put a white ceramic type bracelet on it?

any ideas?

id say a light coloured strap is always going to be a bad idea.... bracelet, or darker leather is about the only way forward for a watch like a W7.

If you fit a ceramic bracelet yourself a word of warning. Ceramic is scratch resistant but VERY brittle. Don't use a hammer to push link pins out. If the tool is not lined up perfectly it will shatter. This lesson was learnt by my brothers girlfriend when adjusting a bracelet in front of a customer.

What was she doing, carrying the coal, fisting a miner?

Email Wera, she'll send you out a replacement straightaway.

You can put on any strap, braclet whatever as long as the strap/bracelet measurement matches the lug width of the watch.

It is quite a common hobby on this forum to change watch straps.
