Introducing - The Hanhart Pioneer One

Both well priced and well sized for a Hanhart. I like the white dialled version better.

It's interesting how are perception and capacity to notice things change so quickly. I haven't seen (or noticed) a "curled" bezel until now. I was just reading an article about Base World 2018 when I came across the new Oris Big Crown Pointer. I immediately associated the bezel style to the above pieces. The style is really growing on me ...

I like that too. SW300 ? I wonder how that compares to the SW200 which I thought was the 2824 equivalent?

It does strike a passing resemblence to

I think the 300 is the equivalent of the ETA 2892.

Hmmnn... the photo in the link of the caseback sure shows a 2824 clone. The auto works and crown wheel are sure 2824. It also talks about a 38hr power reserve- again, that's 2824 territory where the 2892 is low 40s.

Ah... the review in the link must have made a typo. The W&W review indeed calls it out as a SW200.

It looks that way . The picture in the article shows a SW200 not a SW300 . The SW300 does indeed have a power reserve of 42hrs . Well spotted Rich

Hi Strapmeister

Page and Cooper https://www.pageandcooper.com/brands/hanhart/ is the only official AD in the UK.

Also an unofficial supplier is http://www.pilotswatches.co.uk/Hanhart.htm but I don't know if they are selling any of the newer models.

Very many thanks Treyford.
I've pinged an email to Page and Cooper...not holding out much hope - can't find any anywhere for sale.
