If I ever so much as bought our lass a card for Valentines Day it would be one of 2 questions; 'What you done?' or 'Who is she?'. The same if I ever bought her flowersThegreyman wrote:^^^good to see romance is alive and well

My wife thinks it’s a total waste of time and money and scolds me if I buy so much as a card. I went for a few years of not remembering what she’d said and would make an effort, only to be told off. I’ve learnt my lesson. It’s the same for Christmas cards to each other! She’s a tight northern lass!

Completely screwed up last year when I bought her a gold and enamel bracelet on the spur of the moment.......Have her well trained into not pandering to the marketing hype so she didn't get me anything - result, I got into trouble because she felt bad about not getting me anything
Not making that mistake again, going back to getting her nowt this year!.

Re: Extra-Special Editions for Valentine's Day......
Trident Day Date has arrived and initially looked like a return, with at first glance uneven white markers on the bezel, but with a cloth and elbow grease any dirt has lifted and it looks perfect, but I'll take a proper look later when I'm not working.
The titanium has a small mark on one of the lugs, but otherwise seems fine.
I'll be keeping 000 of the Day Date, I just need to decide whether to keep the titanium and also the marine blue from last week, which hasn't been worn yet.
Overall, happy with todays new arrivals.
