What a gentleman! C2 2009 FLE Now received!!

Post by scooter »

I just wanted to put an open note of appreciation to skidder.

I purchased his 2009 Forum LE recently. Although my cheque would not yet have cleared he still sent the watch yesterday in an attempt to get it to me for Christmas Day.

Regrettably for me it was delivered this morning when I was out on a last minute shopping expedition. The watch will therefore be spending Christmas alone in the Collection Office of the Post Office.

What a gentleman.

Seasons greetings to you all

Believe it or not this true.

Having collected my wife from Bath and telling her that the watch was at the Sorting Office (although closed) she insisted we went there. On arrival she spoke to a post lady and established that the Postman had not returned from his round. His van was stuck in the snow and other Posties had gone to dig him out. Sending me home she waited, and waited. Eventually he turned up and, guess what, she came home with my new C20 Forum Limited Edition.

What a watch.....and what a woman!!
