Love the simplicity of this watch. especially like the detail in the shape of the hands. looks like a proper old school flyer. congratulations.

Re: C5 Malvern Aviator
Thanks!
This was my first CW watch and it's my 'military watch'.
Different straps (as with all watches, I guess) totally change the look of it sending it either more military / rugged-looking, or dressier.
Definitely recommended.

Re: C5 Malvern Aviator
The C5a is lovely.
It has clearly been well loved and often worn by Danny_n since he bought it in 2009, with a great collection of little marks on the case. Nothing horrendous and I think a bit of tlc with some Cape Cod will work wonders. Just need to be careful not to polish it too much.

Gary - yes, been busy. Your L&H Phantom last week and the C5a this. Need to release two from my collection now.
Nick - not so sly. The Phantom and C5a plus the C60 Trident 300 pictured, bought on the back of selling my C80 Sector, all fully declared with the dear lady wife.

Lovely strap choice, Guy.
If you do decide to cape cod it, let me know.
Mine has a few battle scars too.

The strap on my C5a at the moment is an old school CW shiny Genuine Alligator, with polished deployant; that was on it when I got it last week. I've also got a CW dark brown matt calf leather with brushed butterfly deployant. Planning to give both these a light treatment of Gliptone leather cleaner to freshen them up.
Aiming to get a couple of others of various types of strap this weekend (this is my only watch with 18mm lugs). I need a NATO and thinking of a Bund style as well.
Also hoping to get to it with the Cape Cod this weekend.
Going to be busy.
