Thanks Nick.

At least I've foundone strap that works.

Got a couple of others in mind.

D'ya know what Guy. I would think that many straps would suit the Chrono, especially the more muted colours, such as dark claret, oak, etc.

This then allows the green to pop without being garish.

It is a far more versatile watch than one would initially think!

Thanks Nick, I was getting round to thinking that.

I've got a brown leather Hirsch Paul and a dark vintage green Steinhart that should work nicely.

I've tried an Elliot Brown rubber strap for size and, whilst I could probably get it to fit, the strap will sit proud of the lugs by 1-2mm. Won't look right.

Oh, there's my white Hirsch Tiger.

Ordered three from Watchgecko this afternoon, making use of their 'spend £50 get a free NATO' offer. Equates to 32% discount.

Congratulations, bet you enjoyed the drive.

It was a bit obvious mind, with the BMW key placed in front of the gear lever.

Must see a photo of your Scooter Blue on the bonnet, to see how well the colours match.

^^ Thanks Guy, that sounds like a good opportunity to take an "arty" CW photo, I'll do that 8)

^^ Thanks Steve, yes really like the auto. It was great for negotiating the rush hour traffic on the A1 at Newcastle and it really picks up well and adds speed very quickly when you need to crack on, it has marginally quicker acceleration times that the manual...plus you don't need to lift a finger
