Words based on experience. :D

An experience I've also had.
A pair of HMV comments, gents. Fully appreciate it's a case of been there, done that.

Thanks. Guy

Unique enough to cost £300 more than the regular blue/orange model. Fancy it's worth it.

60/60 is fall back position, but I've seen and handled the regular C60 Chrono so reckon I'll be good with the watch.

Would only, possibly, return it if there was a major condition issue.

There's a pertinence to your comment Richard which is heartfelt at the moment. Has made me realise a reason to go for it.

Overall, will see what dreams I have and how I feel about it all tomorrow.

Its unique and looks great, but how would you feel if say after a few weeks, a new model with a different colour combination is announced at £1600? Unlikely, but always a possibility.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

Guy,

If you can, then do it. IMO this is better than the blue production model, the overall black look really suits it, with the lime highlights just enough for interest without being blingy.

It could be considered expensive if viewed in terms of being just a C60 chrono, but at risk of being shot down again by Robin, it's unique which makes it impossible to value accurately. Would someone pay big money to take it off you in future - possibly but that's not the reason to buy it........ this is;

No-one else has one........ Or will EVER have one.

That and the fact you know it will get right up a certain persons nose!

We should do a watch share, £500 each providing #2, 3 & 4 don't use it as a beater!

I have an Oris Hammerhead coming next month, so can't justify £2k on 'another' impulse buy. As said before I like a proper seconds hand to accurately set the time, which can't be done on this model, so if I went for it, it would just be a trophy and I'm sure others would value it more than me.

Guy, if you can afford it and really want it, then go for it, as the chances are it'll be gone by tomorrow morning. I was surprised it was still available this morning, but at £2k it's a big commitment.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

They are truly stunning watches but now we are into lottery win territory or selling off all of your collection for a single watch.

They are beautiful watches Dave, the reverse Panda is stunning. Don't know how much these are but guessing tens of thousands. If I had the money I'd probably buy one, the PP though (is it a Nautilus) does nothing for me.
