Rugged Reverso completes a trio
Re: Rugged Reverso completes a trio
Whilst not my cup of tea, I can certainly appreciate what a stunning timepiece this is.
Many congratulations.

watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

Wow.....
All 3 are beautiful.
I have to say though that I prefer the 2 with numerals on the dial. Not entirely sure about the shape of the markers on the middle one.

Amazing set of pictures of your Reverso's.
I am definitely a fan of rectangular watches - might have to thin the collection down to see about a JLC.

Bjorn's collection is one that I not only admire, I would love to wear every single one (well, those that he has displayed on this forum).
While I admire, for instance, downer's collection or Dancematt's Seikos and vintages, or gaf's amazing Omegas, it's an objective admiration in the sense that not every watch in their collection is something I would wear personally.

Re: Rugged Reverso completes a trio
The middle one is the Tribute To 1931, an anniversay model very closely based on a model from 1931 - the very first year of the line. It is only 7,3 mm thick.asqwerth wrote:Wow.....

Oh, and you obviously have impeccable taste Asqwerth!

Re: Rugged Reverso completes a trio
I can only echo what others have said - what a wonderful collection!
None of them is something I'd aspire to owning personally but I can certainly admire from afar and your latest acquisition completes a beautiful trio.

I am not a collector of watches. I used to be able to say that and know I was telling the truth.
Re: Rugged Reverso completes a trio
I really do like that 1931 Tribute you have. I also like the 1948 model as well.Wis wrote:Thanks guys for your kind comments. I'm very pleased with it.
