C5 Malvern Aviator Mk II

Post by asqwerth »

I thought it might be useful to post pics of the 38 mm Aviator Mk II on a female wrist (mine) - as a size comparison.

This first photo shows the watch clearly - unfortunately there's some optical illusion going on, and the watch looks bigger on my wrist than it really is.

Image

The 2nd pic provides a more accurate perspective of the watch in relation to my wrist - sadly, the watch isn't 100% in focus.

Image

The 3rd pic shows the luminous hands and the tip of the second hand (plus the faint lume from the 12 o'clock marker), after I rushed into a darkened room from the outside.

Image

Sorry these aren't the most properly-focused pictures around - it's harder than I expected to take a picture one-handed with a touchscreen phone camera while not moving your watch arm!

Hello and Welcome. :D
The pics look very good to me, especially the lume shot, considering you did them on a phone. Nice looking watch. I do think that women can wear more rugged larger watches that still look good without being masuline. judging by the photos the C5 does this well. Good choice

Welcome to the wonderful world of taking wrist shots. It gets easier the more you practice. :)

Those are nic pics and it is hard to get a good lume shot and that is well done. These Mark IIs are looking good.

Hi & Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the pics. Great looking watch!

My wife wears a C5 Aviator (the first version) pretty much 100% of the time. :)

looks v nice, but does make me think that perhaps this watch is a bit too in touch with its feminine side for me!

Thanks. As a result of seeing your photos I decided to buy one on a stainless steel strap. Looking forward to its arrival.

Make sure to post pics when you get it! I'm sure it'll look completely different with a stainless steel strap! :D
