Go for it Neil, one of the best watches I've ever owned. Lume is amazing, case and crystal quality are superb:

Thanks Pete if I sell my Nomos club I'll give it some serious consideration. Also going to keep my eye out for a used one as new they are a bit steep

A delayed flight and well stocked IWC AD at copenhagen airport confirmed for me that if I have an attainable "grail" this is probably it:

Sure it could do with a mm loss on depth and diameter but other than that it is just awesome.

In the meantime I may pull the trigger on something like this soon to scratch a blue and dive watch itch in a very cost effective way.

Also tried this on at the airport! The white one also, couldnt decide between them to be honest. I really love the bezel on them, feels amazing, very wearable as well, typical IWC build quality.

High chance of this being ordered in next 24 hours. Thoughts?

I tried one on at H Samuels last week, it is properly heavy. Like a ton weight.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

I really like the look of it. Was worried about the weight and Damncematt may have swayed me off it.

I have the PADI and I find it really comfortable on the wrist! I don't find it heavy at all. When I was trying it on before purchase, the weight of the watch wasn't even something that I gave a thought to. I certainly have heavier. I had some initial problems with mine and there are different rules for consumers over here, so it went back to Seiko to fix and now it's running fine. It seems a very solid, sound sort of watch really. After all, this particular case design has been around a long time.

Just ordered the PADI, just could not find a better value blue diver for around £300 which is all I wanted to spend. If it is no good when I get it I can always take it into an H.Samuel for a refund.

Came so close to getting one, until I saw the red bezel in the flesh, and that killed it for me.
