Not sure that is a genuine alligator strap, I think it is, regardless that is a nice looking dial/strap combination. :thumbup:

It's genuine lizard.

Markings are very different for these 2 reptiles!

Road-testing this one - to decide if a black cased 44mm pilot watch should be on my future agenda - and indeed whether or not the size is ok...

The Black case does an excellent job of camouflaging the size Richard; making it wear smaller. :thumbup:

You'll be fine with a C8 Power Reserve SH21. :wink:
