Setting the C6? Help!
Setting the C6? Help!
Hi!
My C6 arrived but I cant set the time, help!
When I have set time and date and try to screw down the crown, I hear a click and the hands are engaged and as I tighten the screw the hands are turning.
Am I doing it wrong or is the watch broken?

Re: Setting the C6? Help!
Just looked at mine, and for setting the time, the crown will be as far out as possible and from there, one nice firm push back in and then screw up the crown and your done......so if yours isn't doing this, then there is some issue with it, for which I'd suggest sending it back!!

Featherst out I set the time, the hands. One click in I set the date, after that there´s a audible 3:rd click, right before I can gently press down and screw in the crown, and right when it engages the screw down there´s a 4:th click and every possible hand on the watch rotates! If I screw it down the watch is halted and doesnt show time...
In the feathest outward setting the watch stopps, in the date position the second hand is ticking as it wants to move but it´s standing still (much like me trying to dance ), in the most inward position the second hands ticks and mover two steps and then falls back to the initial startingpoint (=2 seconds back)...

Definitely knackered.
The C6SOSI that I picked up in the sale arrived last week.... crown not screwed fully down and after doing so exhibits this behaviour exactly. A quick download of the returns form and a visit to the post office and it's back in the hands of CW to be sorted. Hopefully (according to emails rec'd) it should be turned around and back to me this week.

Sorry to hear that JackWorm. I know you've been waiting for that watch for awhile. I'm still waiting for mine. I'll be pretty sad if when it finally arrives it has the same problem.
Re: Setting the C6? Help!
It´s a stunning good loking watch and I like it. As many before me said; it looks even better in real life, much better than the photos. I really like it and I hope it will be up and running soon.

I don't see what the problem is.
I'd want the opportunity to be able to choose to live the same five seconds over and over again - just have to make sure I get the right moment!

Not the moment that you discover your new watch is bu**ered then ?

I had this issue with a NNC6. Needless to say I sent it back and the wonderful Wera sorted it out for me. My replacement has been perfect.

Got mine back about 10 minutes ago, all sorted.
Whilst there seem to have been a few cases of this issue from posts here the matter was dealt with quickly and professionally by all involved at CW.

Exactly. One mail to CWL and I got a quick responce within a few hours. I´m sending it back so they can take a look at it. Everything will turn out okmjh93sa wrote:
