That JS Watch Sif Nart Volcano watch is fantastic. I'm a big fan of theirs anyway, but combining the 1,000 metre water resistance of a tool watch with that extraordinarily unique ash dial, and a shark strap, is a real winner. I'd probably prefer the version without the gold-inlaid engraving on the sides, though. I was stranded in Croatia for a week thanks to the ash cloud from that Icelandic volcano (not much of a hardship, to be fair), so to wear some ash from such a huge event on my wrist would be quirkily interesting. Gorgeous.

Jumping in the dial represents the Icelandic volcanoes. It is made from volcanic ash.

More information here (click link).
Thanks !!

I'd put this out of my mind until recently. I'd love to try one in person just to rule it out based on a basic crown/boring or illegible hands/etc....

The price rules it out anyway! But I still admire it. Apart from the date font, it annoys me in pictures as much as the CWL latest date wheels.

Whilst we're pricing, how much is a regular Sif Nart? It looks so refined but is a 1000m tool watch. Love it.

Comes highly recommended. Lovely detail and very slim. I think of it as a playful dress watch. Don't let the 36mm size put you off either, the lugs make it wear a touch bigger and would suit most wrists i think.
