Thanks Ferg. Yeah, makes me wonder why didn't I buy one before - instead I've spent years messing around with a cheap tool, working slowly to try to avoid scratching pins, cases and straps in the process. The Bergeon (I've also bought the suggested larger hook attachment) makes it effortless. Lesson learnt - highly recommended. Surprised CWL don't offer them on the website, I wonder if there's money to be made in a basic watch tools section for strap changes?MiniMpi wrote:I'm glad the Bergeon did the job for you, they are very good in fairness.

I had the cheap version before also but it broke after a couple of strap changes so that got the bin. I also bought the Bergeon on the recommendation from the forum.

Great news, Glad you managed to get it sorted!
I also started out with a cheap tool before joining the forum (i mean how different can they be right!?) Well after the points of the prongs snapping on all 3 ends that came with it i decided to bite the bullet and purchase a Bergeon and the difference is night and day, haven't looked back since!

A wise decision.
