Hmm. The munched 6, the arched logo (which looks out of whack with the 11 and 1) and white gold (unnecessary weight and cost and it still looks like steel). It's a fail.

Well, they don't make any steel watches :ka:
A real fail is the Milgauss just posted above.

Yes, that PVD Milgauss is a disaster. It shouts cheap, but I'll be it isn't. I quite like the Lange.

Came across one of these today...

Definitely no longer dreaming about it... It was a big let-down.

Also tried this again...

Image

Wears very tall and it's very shiny. Also off the list.

Well, I wouldn't kick it out of the watch box, but, in fact there is metal less precious and at the same time more attractive... But the Saxonia certainly would do it . Alas, it also pretends to be steel.

I recently flipped one of these. While tall I found that it didn't wear as high as it suggests. 15mm Apparently. Though when it had the nato doubled up underneath it was a bit a cuff stopper. Lovely watch though, but it does show every mark on those PCL's.

I just saw someone wearing a Submariner Hulk at the supermarket and the green was a really nice, deep color, not an attention-grabbing type. It looked much better than when I saw it in an AD the last time. I'm a little green with envy lol.

the Hulks are nice but after seeing so many fakes in Turkey and Dubai i dont think i could ever wear one without thinking others were thinking i was wearing a fake.

The lighting in an AD makes them look "blingeur" than they are. If I was getting a modern Sub I think it is the one I would get. Only issue is I am not sure if I would wear it when I am In my dottage. :)

I tried on a Hulk a couple of days ago, when I was feeling bored in a shopping centre. I liked wearing it much more than the pictures I've seen of it.

Sorry, just catching up on this, nice watch but what about that wonky crown? I tell you what, the quality control at AL&S needs improving!
