Think I will always regret selling my C5a Mk1. Aside from being a great watch it was also my very first mechanical. Funny thing is I sold it to part fund a vintage Omega, which itself was later sold to part fund something else. We live and learn I suppose.

Thanks for sharing this little treasure :)

This arrived for me today courtesy of footycrazy (many thanks Graham). I have long been lusting after one of these, but circumstances have meant that watch funds have been spent on more necessary items (a new boiler for one), but thanks to Graham I have been able to get myself a nice present for my upcoming 40th. Very definitely a keeper!

Thanks scooter! A touch of serendipity - I have just noticed that the serial number is 0376. My date of birth is 3rd of April '76 - it was meant to be :D

Thank you Graham! I had to look twice in case it was an 8 rather than a 6, but I was right the first time - extremely chuffed!

Jump hour mk3 with gold indices. Brown Louisiana alligator strap. Exquisite. This photo does no justice to the watch by the way, only wished it was museum grade sapphire.
"While hints of coconut, aromatic burnt sugar, fresh butter, milk chocolate, coffee-cream, chocolate bars, a slight whisky essence, vanilla milkshake fill the air, i sit here with a pleasing grin, admiring my Christopher Ward watch"
