They're nice. I was quite tempted by the "son" model some time back, but I wasn't satisfied with the seller so I took the cautious option. They look lovely though.

The rhodium is HAWT! I think I'd prefer the 39 myself.smegwina wrote:
Also need to see how the Rhodium dial look in the flesh.
Can't wait to see wrist shots

Every now and again (like today!) I think about getting one of these:

... Or get a watch on the day he is born that you could hand down to him when he turns 18...

Thanks to Footy and ateague, I can't seem to get this out of my head:
It addresses all the tiny issues I had with my DA37 and looks a really solid 'do it all' watch.

Oooh Bernie, while I've seen pics of the new turtle, I hadn't seen this variant as yet. I like it. I'll add that to the short list, possibly in place of the all (dark) blue model I'd been considering. I have an original 1980's turtle, but this would really tempt me.tempusmaximus wrote:This one at the moment the Seiko Prospex SRP787K1 Turtle diver . But doesn't $4750 for a GMT Master II 16710 Coke Bezel seem awfully low ?
