Latest acquisition: Everest

Haven't deviated away from Chr.Ward for a while but have always liked the Timefactors Smiths Everest PRS-25. Was too good a deal to turn down.

:-)

I really like this watch madjam250.

I would be most grateful if you could please post details of the watch and the company that produces it. Also, how much is it to buy? I haven't heard of this make of watch and I am always interested to learn about watch brands I don't know about.

Excellent pick-up MJ. If I didn't already have an Explorer 1 homage in the form of my MKii Vantage, I would have one of those beauties.

@problem son- check out Timefactors watches. The Everest is part of the Smiths range but there are a whole lot more ranges over there to catch your eye and threaten your wallet.

Very nice pick up MJ. I lusted after one for a while, mainly due to the acrylic crystal and shiny case.

Very nice, I like the Everest and keep thinking about ordering one, but it seems every time I try its on a day that they aren't accepting orders so I keep putting it off and then something else comes along.
Closure

Time Factors is closed until Tuesday 20 January 2015 whilst a backlog of orders is cleared, sorry for any inconvenience.

Quite a strange way of ordering but I guess it helps keep things in check and stop orders from backing up!

If the new Trident isn't anything special I shall revisit Timefactors. I must admit having "Great Britain" on the dial is part of the appeal.

I agree totally! It may not have a Swiss movement but it's believed the Miyota workings in this are comparable to the ETA equivalent. Despite not have a sapphire crystal the body/case is chunky and weighty which makes it feel so good. Quality stuff, for relatively little money.

And having screwed links helps with diy link removal too :-)

No. Yes. Hmm, spot on size.

I sold it earlier in the year but am hankering after another.
