Posted this on 'non CW of the day' this morning. It really is a thing of beauty. It was 'mine' for the 5 minutes it was on my wrist, before reluctantly handing it back to the AD. I guess I will have to look elsewhere for a 40mm, slim, small second, elegant dress watch at a more sensible price!

You little tease Neil

It is a real super watch

OK, now I have internet access here is my confession

I was in a dealer waiting, and pottered into the PP section. I have to admit they never really appealed to me, but I thought...hey, don't look at the prices, which one is the "best of the bunch" - never ever tried one on before. Chose that one, and tried it on...WOW, OK I can see they are they expensive, so light, comfortable and the fit was superb - think it may look a tad better on a nato though

However, should I win the lottery - I think I have found my grail - otherwise, as the saying goes,"in my dreams".

It's pretty nice. I like the hand especially. Case shape ain't bad either. Dial color turns me off of seriously considering it though.

I am not usually a Panerai fan, but must say this eight-day has me taking a second look. Seller wants $9975 CDN.

I daydream expectantly for two wristwatches: my FLE (due before Christmas, I hope) and my GP 4946 (due to be here in February '16 for an emotional reunion).......

A little more restrained than some but this is my day dream watch of the moment, not counting a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss.

Frederique Constants are super discounted in the Gemnation sale (upto 75% off). The Slimline Moonphase is only in the $1100s. But I am really taken in by their moonphase with the hunter caseback ($1300s).

Very Patek. I wish they didn't have the small minute numbers. Don't know if PP has them. Just a clean dress watch and smaller than their previous Slimline Moonphase.
