The problem of it leaving marks/imprints on my skin seems to have solved itself since I removed the protective plastic from the back. Water vapour/sweat made it sticky and it was preventing the watch from sliding back down whenever it slid up my arm where it fit more snugly. So it remained higher up and left marks due to its weight. With the plastic gone, the watch moves more naturally up and down the wrist, and the watch does not have time to leave marks in one spot.
