Don't remember, oh .. Rick's bar I think. Play it again, Sam (and which we all know wasn't actually used in the film).Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:I've forgotten. What were we talking about?

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
I am seriously reconsidering the BB (blue this time) as the size was great, but I can't get over how polished and thick the side of the watch case was.

For me it would be the red. I love the retro feel of it. But the blue without the faux patina is so clean and crisp. One trying to capture the past, the other just a 'hat tip' to the past.
Top of my (achievable) list.

I love my Tudor BBB. It's just so simple and clean. I see what you mean about the case side being a bit thick, but it doesn't bother me.

Black Bay Blue - good size, understated, thick/polishedPeteo wrote:I love my Tudor BBB. It's just so simple and clean. I see what you mean about the case side being a bit thick, but it doesn't bother me.
Black Bay Red - good size, screams 'look at me', thick/polished, nice vintage/modern
vintage Tudors - super profile/size and great dial aesthetics (unlike modern BBs), crap bracelet, expensive, maintenance
Pelagos 2-liner - not so good on size, large clasp, scratches easy, killer dial and lume and bezel
Pelagos 5-liner - bad symmetry, expensive, thicker, bright bright blue
No winner here mate but BBB seems like the best compromise
I agree with this guy's opinion here - http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=359416
The Red BB is a nicer watch, but my money would probably go to the Blue out of the two.

Forget the bracelet, then no beating this. Maybe a no-date version would be better (no cyclops).
