Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Having a wander around Vienna waiting for the UB40 concert last Friday & popped into Bucherer.
They just had a delivery from Rolex.
Anyway, bit of spare time, decided to try a Milgauss, super watch but not for me at the mo.
Then onto a few datejusts, and I hadn't seen the Blue face one before and I was quite taken by it.....
Cyclops doesn't bother me, and with my eyes I find em quite good.
So a quick pic with the fruit phone, and have looked at it a few times now. Mmmmmm

Nice. Is that the DJ (36mm) or the DJII (41mm)?

I love this Oris too..!Konketsu wrote:I didn't like this Oris Divers 65 when it was first announced because it seemed too retro and vintage, but now it is very appealing:

White dial versions on bracelet are about the same price.
Advisor v. Milgauss (maybe a poll) ??
Advisor is titanium grade 5 (Pelagos is grade 2), but many parts are steel (incl. bracelet).
I find the dial attractive and the alarm complication cool, but it seems large and thick to wear.

The Advisor is pretty chunky for the type of watch it is, and it is seriously lacking in the AR department. List price is crazy IMO. Before I saw one, I was 90% sure it would be my next watch. Now... it's off the list.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Saw them both at the AD a few weeks ago. The silver Advisor is much more eye-catching than the black version, but the white Milgauss was stunning. (And about $600 CDN more than an Explorer II.) The AD had all three colours - blue/green, black/green and white/orange, and my preference in order would be white, blue then black. And yes, I would get another white-dialed Rolex. It was really that nice.

There is a nice IWC pocket watch that has showed up on recon but I will probably not move on it because I don't have the occasion for it
So here is an Aquatimer.

I am still tempted to find a good example of the previous Omega AT Golf white dial - 231.10.42.21.02.002. This was only in circulation for a short while and is becoming hard to find already. A future classic AT IMO.

^^^ I think these would be perfect if the hour markers were also blued like the older 2500 AT.

Re: The
I know what you mean, although I like that this has small points of differentiation and is a transitional model between the coaxial and the master coaxial. I also like that there are small numbers of them.gaf1958 wrote:^^^ I think these would be perfect if the hour markers were also blued like the older 2500 AT.
