Interesting but pricey watch, that Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte Seebataillon GMT. Which doesn't exactly roll off the tongue!
Rolex Explorer II | Tudor BBR | Tudor North Flag | Omega Seamaster Pro 300M | Speedmaster 3513.30 | TAG Kirium F1 | Chr.Ward C9 GMT | C10 Mk1 | C65 LE | Oris Player's 7410 |

My wife spotted it on eBay and liked the look of it, as I did.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:Tonneau dial, round case. Interesting. What's the story?Proco2020 wrote:

It's different and will be a talking point no doubt. I'm looking forward to seeing how it'll sit on the wrist.
Apparently made by a canadian watch maker from NOS 1940's movement fitted into a modern case. I'm waiting for it to arrive, hopefully before our wedding anniversary.

Whilst firmly focused upon other watches, this one has somehow fallen into my sights:
I may even go for it unless sanity returns

I suggest you go for it BEFORE sanity returns!

Haha, I was hunting the blue one last month. The model number is A32350 I think, and they are very affordable on the pre-owned market, just wait for a good deal.atnits wrote:Whilst firmly focused upon other watches, this one has somehow fallen into my sights:

There's a Speedy for everyone, and I like this one, though probably not enough to buy one.

These I would imagine need to be seen in the flesh.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
I stumbled upon this one via an article on Worn & Wound.
http://wornandwound.com/2015/08/21/intr ... 03-a-sa-b/
Limited edition of 500 pieces
• Case diameter (mm): 41.0
• Case thickness (mm): 17.0
• Case lug width (mm): 20
• Lug to lug (mm): 47.5
• Weight - head only (grams): 88
• Case back: Transparent
• Case finish: Polished
• Case metal: Stainless steel
• Dial color: Blue
• Winding: Automatic
• Inert gas: Filled
• Copper sulphate: Capsule
• Manufacturer's limited warranty: 3 years
So much to like about this watch. At a halfway decent price to boot. Case diameter is good, but man, 17mm tall? I might still take the plunge anyway. It's my birthday soon, after all.

Sinn 101 - don't know where to find one. Close design to Breguet Type XX.
Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Peteo, I think the quoted 17mm is due to the domed crystal. I'm sure it's a tall watch, but I reckon a couple of mm come from the crystal shape, so it may be more wearable than it sounds. For sure, it's a lovely watch.Peteo wrote:I stumbled upon this one via an article on Worn & Wound.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Yup, you're right. Not surprising given the 500 piece count and the exposure they got on W&W, ABTW and other places. Oh well. Maybe another Sinn then for me then.blowfish89 wrote:Peteo, I think they are sold out already.
