Of course you need one (if you need curved spring bars).

Seriously though, I do have one I bought from Cousins (but mine has metal jaws and cost under a fiver).

They are great for straps that are a bit thick in the lugs when curved spring bars make it all work.

Be very careful using horological instruments for grooming.

I tried to pierce my ears with a watch band hole punch. It didnt work, emergency services were called and I now look like I should be in a camp opposing Fracking.

On the flip side, my 'lugs' now can take a 22mm strap with no problem!!!! ;) :D

You might laugh, but this is a very handy tool to have. I wouldn't be without it.

Quite right, for the cost it's such a usefull little tool. I remember years ago using pliers to carefully bend them into shape, what a faff.

Mind you, in the other items boxes I noticed the cheap cousins one priced at £116.99, shows as 28 sold!

I hope that's just a placeholder for an OOS item and people haven't actually bought them at that pric e

I hope nobody bought at that price (they would need to be Bergeon for that).

Here is the link to the Cousins spring bar pliers (under a fiver) - they are just about worth that price as they are a little basic (but do the job).
