Lovely watch indeed, but I must disagree with the "rule them all", as far as divers go. As good as it is, I am not convinced that it is the ultimate diver! ;). :D

I didn't like this Oris Divers 65 when it was first announced because it seemed too retro and vintage, but now it is very appealing:

Oh my, sold a blue one a few years back too. Damn it.

Great. Will make a great 45mm dressy diver for you, paired with your DSSD
The strangest thing is that I've seen the Flyback Chronograph version of the watch sell cheaper than the 3-hand version.
There is also the Trilogy and Trilogy GMT versions at one-half to one-third of the price, but I suspect they might have an ETA movement ?

Ooh, they are rather nice!!

Does a man need a 4th 44mm plus diver though???? (Not including the 43mm ones too)

You sir are bad for my wallet and marriage!!! :D

^I think downer tried that on recently and wasn't impressed. For good reason, it is 44.2mm case and ~18mm thick.

The right way to do this is JLC, 19k$ RRP, stainless steel case, 39mm, 9.2mm thick for an automatic perpetual calendar.

Eesh! 44mm. Way to big! 40-42 is my sweet spot. I'm liking that 39mm there too!

For me 39-42 mm suits best.
Love that JLC - very stylish.
Alas a pic is about as close as I will get.

There are watches I will appreciate greatly, but never buy. This is one of them.

And there are watches I'm not sure about, but I'll buy and try sometime. Like this Tuna.
