Re: How many C8 Mk.1s ?
When I first read this question, I thought, no idea, but CornishDave's reply may hold the answer... The highest serial number could be a pointer.
My Mk I has a serial number of 741. Higher numbers anyone?

CWL has never released any actual production information. With the exception of limited editions, actual production numbers remain unknown.Bahnstormer wrote:Does anyone know how many C8 Mk1's were produced ?
This is something I have been trying to put together for a few years now, but it is a bit complicated. One of these days....

Not sure how much help this will be, but I bought my C8 MkI Cream face a little over two years ago when the 'last two remaining' were offered to the forum. It's serial number #0899.
There are black faced versions as well and there is no suggestion that #0899 is the highest serial number.
Anyone else have a higher one?

I bought the other one of the 'last two remaining' and it is numbered 0931 (although I put mine on the vintage strap rather than a nato).

Mine's not always on a nato. I've got old and new vintage straps plus a CW riveted pilot strap as well.

You look like a man who could do with a Lotus Seven Club C3.
Trying not to buy any more watches...
