I'm afraid to say it out loud....but I may be getting somewhere with it now.
It's been a hard road I can tell you :(
Latest : We took off the cat on my car, sent it to be ultrasonically cleaned.
My mechanic put a camera scope into the cat first to check it and it looked 90% blocked !
The cat self destructed in the cleaning process due to how blocked it was.
We fitted a good second hand cat to my car, swapped out the fouled up plugs for slightly better ones and also cleaned the MAP sensor as it was covered in oil...
I'm driving it now, since yesterday, for the week to test it and see if the oil consumption calms down and also the smoke.
Then, if all good, we will do another oil change and fit new plugs.

Sorry for the long reply ! :)

Inspired by MissF's tread and feeling for something bulky.

Well, I hope this works, and that the cat is not among the pigeons!
I've never had to change one but I'm sure it would NOT be cheap.....

That's a great looking combo. I'm not familiar with that model? Which model is it, and what strap is that? They work really well together.

It's the C11 Chronograph which is no longer available.
James will be on to let you know about the strap I'd say ;)
