Hello all, first post....,
My first CW was a Makaira Pro with metal bracelet. I'm not 100% wild about it with the metal bracelet so replaced it with rubber. Looking at another purchase soon, wondering if the metal bracelet would fit a new 42mm trident or a C70?
More the trident probably - I like the leather on the C70 - both listed as 22mm but is the shape the same?
Thanks
Makaira / Trident / C70 bracelet compatibility

The 22mm bracelets are the same except the shoulder (end) pieces are different for the C11, C60 and C70. You would need to change these pieces in order to use the C11 bracelet on the a different case model.
The straight end straps can be used on any model of the same mm. The curved straps will work on the C60, C65 or C70.
You can probably obtain the needed shoulder pieces to change your C11 bracelet by contacting customer service with the specifics.

I've got a C70 strap in front of me and it doesn't fit my C65 ...Kip wrote:The 22mm bracelets are the same except the shoulder (end) pieces are different for the C11, C60 and C70. You would need to change these pieces in order to use the C11 bracelet on the a different case model.

It works for me for the strap shown.
If you are trying one of the older hard moulded straps, they will not fit. the hole alignment is slightly different in those straps

Ah that might be it then, it has the harder moulding.

Ok thanks all for the input. I shall ponder my Father's Day purchase further
