We are excited to bring you the Mako USA, the newest version of our popular Mako diver. It’s been slightly redesigned with feedback from the watch community in mind. It now includes a sapphire crystal, solid endlinks, drilled lug holes, and a 120-click bezel. The dial also glows more bright with Nemoto LumiNova®, a top-of-the-line lume pigment.
The Mako USA is now available for presale in Jet Black, Stark White, and Royal Blue, and is expected to ship July 1, 2015. Only available here at orientwatchusa.com!

Amazing price considering the upgrades. This will be a top seller.

I think I might waot for a yellow or orange special edition however... There's bound to be one, right!?

My first thought is - How much for the increased spec. ?
I am not sure if I preferred the numbers, but it does look more symmetrical now.
I think I favour the white one, although it has now got more of a Seiko feel about it.

Thanks for posting I am off to have a look.

Love the Sword hands but I'm not digging the indices sadly.

Remember, tho, they rarely sell at retail. Even on the orient site, it's usually 30% off.

Good on the upgrades, but the original 6-9-12 Mako dial is much more to my liking.

I managed to snag a blue 'Ray' and it is very similar to this new Mako. Great watches for the price and the increased spec makes it a bargain. The white face will do me as I have a collection of other colours already!

I still think the Mako Ray is by far the best looking of the Makos.

Not too keen on this new one - as someone else says, it just looks like a cheap Seiko 5, and not so cheap anymore either

I think it looks great and at £150 RRP it's still a bargain, albeit not quite as much a bargain as the Mako v1.

Sadly though, according to the blog post:
The Mako USA is currently only available at orientwatchusa.com, and available to US-based customers only.
So that's a shame for us non-USA based geezers.

I've always got loads of watches for sale, PM me to see what I've got available right now!

Unless an enterprising USA based forum member wanted to start a Mako grey export business.........
