Liked this and thought of changing my Ranger - but as Andy said, very limited strap options has changed my mind (for now )..However, will check one out when we see Olly Murs in Vienna in a couple of weeksandyg wrote:very nice, but limited strap options and pure sporty looks will rule it out for me.Peteo wrote:Speaking of Tudors, what do people think of the North Flag? I kinda like it. $3350 on strap or $3675 on bracelet.

I have been fighting it, but after getting sidetracked by the DeepSea, this is calling again...

Thanks guys for your views on a potential Omega PO / Rolex Sub swap. Your split of views pretty much sums up the conflicting voices in my head!

Oh yes, I had exactly the same reaction, then I decided that I loved it.

This one. But the lust will pass by the morning. Stunning though.

smegwina, you can find "peter.watchacc" on watchrecon or just google him. He makes nice straps specifically for IWC Pilots, and has a lot of variations. You can read a good review here - http://forums.watchuseek.com/f350/quick ... 31547.html

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Spent an enjoyable hour in Fraser Hart in London today trying on a variety of watches. Ended up with three on my wish list, which may cause a problem with priorities!
Firstly, I tried one of these on again and confirmed that I LOVE it! Why I ever cooled on it I'll never know! If I had kept my senses then Clarky's old one would now be mine, but someone else pipped me to it.
Secondly, I surprised myself by really falling for this:
I had previously been smitten with the 38mm version and found the 42mm lacking in a certain something. But I tried on a 38mm version again a couple of months ago and decided that it was too small - even for me. So today I took the opportunity to try on the 42mm version again and BAM! it looked fantastic. It sat really nicely on the wrist and the rubber-backed leather strap is fantastic. With all it's 1969 connections (my birth year) this is now seriously back on the wish list!
Finally, I tried on this, expecting it to be a bit too large at 43mm. But it fitted fine and was amazingly comfortable in its design and, of course, very lightweight due to the titanium. The bracelet is awesome!
So the only problem is how to afford more than one of these without having to sell half my collection first!
Anyone want to buy a set of matching #11 FLEs!?
