I agree, Rolex have smashed this one. Was surprised to see it had the 3132 movement in it, which is more "advanced" than the 3130 you'd find in a sub.

+2 but I need to see one next to an Explorer to be sure.

Some stunning choices on this thread. I'm really struggling to think of something I'm dreaming about. This wasn't ever an issue until I picked up an Explorer, but this pretty much puts to rest most other desires.

IWC Top Gun is one I've always dreamed of, but if I did ever get one (fat chance) I'd still probably warm more to the Explorer. Never thought I'd say that about a non-Diver or a sub 40mm.

I need to start a new thread in the future, when I want to upgrade my blue diver (from my C60)-

Blue Black Bay vs Blue Pelagos, what'd you pick ?

Thank you.

I think the Explorer has it. I'll be in Barbados next week so a visit to a dealer to have a look may be in order.

^^^^^ I agree James (thanks god), however I wouldn't mind both  The explorer looks a tad more casual.

Currently, I am dreaming about the following four diver watches and which I would like best in my collection...

First up, the Rolex Sea Dweller, which would mean pushing the boat out a long way and replacing my Omega PO, C600 and probably Breitling Colt too, which may be too much to bear...

Image

But I am also very taken with an older Rolex Sub 14060m, which would be less of a stretch, but I'm terrified of picking up a fake, bodged or stolen watch - or having to pay way over the odds to gain comfort against this by going to a dealer...

Image

Another affordable alternative is a Tudor Black Bay, in either red or blue (although I have blue covered by my SMP). I had cooled on these in recent months, but now they are growing on me again!

Any thoughts/views would be very welcome to aid my addled brain!

No-date Sub. An equal no-brainer.

I have tried all on at least twice and still can't decide! I still keep coming back to a late 14060M 4-line (with engraved rehaut) as if you wan't to sell in years to come, there will be less of these around than an earlier 2-line. If not I would go for a 114060.
