Ah okay but I read it to mean celebrities like Stephen Fry, Prof Brian Cox and Brian May.
You'd be quite right to read it like that! I have changed it now...
Do those guys wear AP? I have always tried to see what Fry is wearing on QI, something gold on a leather strap but thats all i can see.

So sorry about pulling your chain. Having a slow day at work
I'm not sure what they wear other than Brian May wears a seiko diver at times and think he has a few Pateks.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

As a rule not a Panerai fan but with a 42mm case I could get on board with that!

Until I tried one on this morning. It didn't fit my wrist at all - with a flat bottomed case and the long lugs it looked ridiculous and felt even worse. Oh, and the strap was a minger. Definitely off the list.
i had a lot of similar thoughts. i really liked it when i saw it in person in the box. but the moment i put it on my wrist, the love went away. the lugs just kill the watch.
the "g" is for Greg...

What is it with Nomos and lugs? The Club is perfect for me, except for the lugs. Once I've tricked my brain into accepting them, I'll be buying one.

Agreed those lugs just ruin an otherwise very nice watch.

imo that looks not good.
The straight lugs looks like a disc of wood balanced on your wrist.
However, if you like that look, enjoy.
Haters going to hate and all that.

Ok, I didn't buy nor will I ever buy it.
Instead I got this 33mm beauty:
However, the Atlantik still is a wonderful watch, just not for me! But there must be people out there who can wear it!

Good work. For me, I think the lugs are bearable, and everything else is a winner. If the dunkel version were still available, I'd be buying it. Instead I'm thinking I'll ask Nomos to make me a 36mm white one with the sapphire back.
