yeah, the "couple of years" probably referred to how long that AD figured old stock might last. it could be than in a couple of years, you could still find one, but maybe not easily.
the "g" is for Greg...

Re: Dilemma - which one to buy?
Let me try to convince you of the right answer...
I've had my Skyfall AT since summer last year and absolutely love it. It's probably my favourite watch. I love my Moonwatch too, but that is a bit bigger, which might be significant for your 6" wrist.
I've looked closely at the BBR too, and it's lovely, but I'm not surprised that you think it looks a bit big on your wrist.
Go for the AT. If you haggle hard you should get a good deal (near or at Iconic prices) at a High St AD.

How can you go wrong with a shortlist like that?
Good luck and enjoy the one you choose!

So I wish I was James Bond, just for the day.

Re: Dilemma - which one to buy?
I tried on an AT the other day, I have to say it was lovely, just the right balance between dressy and regularly wearable.
You can get some non 'moonwatch' Speedy's that walk that line too, if that's your bag. My 2012 speedy chronometer looked really dressy on a bracket, with stainless case, blue dial and bezel. I think having the date on a hand not boxed is school touch too. Some of the non-standard Speedy's may be a good option for you too

Re: Dilemma - which one to buy?
Thanks for the advice guys. The AT is definitely in pole position as of now. Hoping to pick one up soon after my bonus gets paid!
