I recently met Bremont's Account Manager at SalonQP and he told me that their watches have been very well recieved in the USA and in Asia. There is a very healthy appetite for the 'British story' and sales continue to grow hence the spread of ADs.Caller wrote:Is that right? I thought they were big in the states and they certainly have a thriving market in SE Asia. I'll be viewing some tomorrow in Bangkok (but not buying, I've got my U2 Blue).blowfish89 wrote:I personally don't see anything special in Bremont. And its mostly British people who are crazy about it, which is understandable.

I believe the USA is a bigger market than UK for Bremont.

This one today. Check out the font used for the '4' in the date window, and how it matches the numbers on the dial.

Nothing extravagant today but thanks to Korkki's SOTC I'm dreaming of one of these
or this one
Nice alternative to a Seiko 5.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Just to briefly return to this. I got it from the AD's (Pendulum) mouth about the popularity of Bremont in Bangkok. I had to go back to collect the tag on the watch that had been bought for me, to take advantage of a discount. He kept the tag with their receipts and he pulled a whole wad of them out in front of me, which prompted my question about their popularity. The receipts go back to Bremont HQ and 2/3 weeks later, a signed note arrived in Thailand, signed by the brothers as well as the COSC certificate and a freebie leather address tag for suitcases. A nice touch.Berkshire wrote:I recently met Bremont's Account Manager at SalonQP and he told me that their watches have been very well recieved in the USA and in Asia. I keep fantasising about small vintage Rolexes at the mo. My local chap has a couple of these at the mo:

I think it's only a matter of time before I weaken and get one...

Each of us will face this question at least once in a year.

I agree that this one is just yum. Unnecessary complication is probably right, but looking at that dial, who cares?blowfish89 wrote:this one today - unnecessary complication, fabulous looking watch
