Interesting to see Accurist advertising heavily on TV.
I'm watching Robson Jerome in his wild swimming adventure and that is sponsored by Sekonda. I don't recall watches being advertised on TV so frequently in the past.

Re: TV ads
Agreed - I saw a Tissot one t'other day. Maybe with the recession the more affordable brands are hoping to tempt people away from the pricey stuff for Christmas?

Re: TV ads
We older Guys will remember the ads for Timex every Christmas, there was a jingle that went:
"Tic a Tic a Timex tra la la".
"Tic a Tic a Timex tra la la".
No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

Seen the Tissot. It pushes their Touch range and includes the new Sea Touch in orange
Watches - Too many but not enough!

Re: TV ads
Hello
Watching the football and judging by the pictchside ads,i think each club has a watch associated with it.
Ebel=Arsenal
Hublot= Man utd
Well thats all i can think of (Rainham steel, dont make watches do they ?)
I dont know if i am paying more attention or there is more watch stuff about.
Btw Has anyone else wiled away a few hours watching the Watch commander on one of the shopping Channels,The man is very passionate and although i havent bought any of his wares yet i have been tempted.
I think if you have an interest in something it will become highlighted in general.
Thanks Steve

Re: TV ads
Steve, yes watch that to see what he is selling, some of it looks tat but other stuff as you say is tempting like the Seapro Diver for £113. But then it has a glass back so how waterproof is it compared to the Seiko's on places like RLT?
