That's it, I'm determined to spot a CWL in the wild. I'll do it even if it kills me. :löl:

It was great to pop in and say hello to Tetlee today. What a nice guy.

Tetlee, I apologise for asking you if you thought my scooter blue needed a new battery before introducing myself.

Your professionalism in explaining that my CW didn't have a battery without calling me a plonker did you much credit.

Your Smiths Astral was lovely and as I said, AVO would have approved.

^^^
maybe this is what we all need to do - shorten the odds a bit.
for example - i can often be found writing and drinking tea in a place called Forest Cafe in Edinburgh. so if anyone wants to spot a CW watch 'in the wild', this could be a place to try! :D
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

Likewise Scooter, and no appology needed, you'd be surprised how often I get asked that question with mechanical and automatic watches

Was great to see you, and finally the fabled Scooter Blue C60 in the flesh, it certainly is a lovely watch and far nicer than my old C60 Orange which I flipped some time back.

Did take me back a bit when I realised who you were, I actually get to see a good few CW's here(my odds are better than many it's fair to say :) ) but none from here until now.

Thanks for the comment on the Smiths, I do love that watch(wearing my Jump Hour today, dammit, one day out!).

I was exhibiting at IPEXPO within Londons ExCel this past week. A supplier whom I have known for some time but not of his interest in watches was lending a hand on our stand. He just so happened to be a brand new C3. My first wild spot!

I'll try to remember to wear my C60 GMT next time I do my shopping in Waitrose in Woodley.... would that help?
So I wish I was James Bond, just for the day.

Berkshire, I was driving through Windsor on the way to Legoland today - is that near enough?
