C61 for the wife

Post by jwhudson »

Hi Everyone,

Literally a couple of hours after me doing my first post on the forum a new toy arrived. Well not a new toy for me, but the other half.

Not happy with me getting a new watch, she wanted something different also. This was followed by a 5 hour shopping trip on Saturday through numerous jewellers to find her a watch. Nothing really jumped out at her and that evening she went onto the website and really liked the C61.

I ordered it for her yesterday morning on a metal strap and true to form delivery was brilliant.

If she doesnt like it, it will be going back to be replaced by a C60 as I absolutely love it, but the face is a bit too small for me.

Will update you all later with what she thinks.

Well done James :)
I'm sure she'll love it.
The Trident is a fabulous watch isn't it ?
I have two C60's and would highly recommend one for you.

Thanks guys for the messages.

Good new and bad news.

Good news = She loves it, so I dont have to go shopping again this weekend.
Bad news = She loves it, so I can't change it for a C60 for me!!!

She is off to get some links taken out with a big smile.

Cheers
James

Glad to hear the wife likes it. I am thinking of getting my good lady a c61 some time this year. It will be her first automatic watch.

What a great looking watch. I've had my eye on one for a while, but ended up getting a different watch recently to satisfy an itch. The c61 will most likely be my next.
