Toro Bravo strap and C60 Q...?

Post by reggie747 »

Hi dudes,

Can anybody tell me if the above strap will fit a C60 ?
I learnt in the past that all rounded end straps are NOT the same even tho from the same stable..

Has anybody any experience in mating the above pair ?

Cheers

I thought the Toro Bravo straps were only made for the C7/C70 case.

I assume the ends are different and wouldn't fit (but since both my C60's are on bracelets, I have tried to fit a strap).

The C7 and the C60 are both 42mm cases, so the curvature will be correct. However, the lug-pin holes need to be at the same (or greater) distance. I can't tell you for sure, as I don't have a C60 yet - but I'd like to know.

I think the Toro Bravo straps are excellent and currently own 4 (3x 22mm and 1x 20mm). All the 22mm straps have been on my C7 and look great, I have also put them on this Swiss Army watch:

Which worked remarkably well considering it is a 38mm case

Also, I have tried a couple of other non-CW watches ...sorry no pics
...generally, they are difficult to fit (compared to a normal straight ended strap), but do-able

I find the Bergeon tool for bracelets works best (with the thinner end), I think that's the 6767-F model

The 20mm Toro Bravo has proved impossible (so far) for any non-CW watch. Presumably it was designed for the C61/W61. I purchased it for a Black/Orange Hamilton that I bought, but never tried to put it on as I changed my mind on the watch and sent it back.
