Does any one have experience with one of these in a hot, humid (sweaty) climate. I'm wondering if it will turn green and start to rust as opposed to just patina?

It won't rust. It will develop patina faster though. As for the colour, it seems to vary somewhat. The nice thing is that the patina can always be easily polished if you don't like the way it looks.
