Re: Internet Boutique Watch Brands
Interesting article but strange not to see the likes of Steinhart or CWL on there.

Re: A Guide To Internet Boutique Watch Brands
All watch articles on that site seem to be a bit, err, limited. Take the "frugal" buying one, and the one about picking up vintage pieces on ebay. It's probably a testament to like-minded folk how much more useful a forum is, than a magazine page that dedicates articles to topics of horological interest
(not discounting the decent watch review sites - like wornandwound etc)

Not very representative at all.
Anyways, what does boutique really mean for watches? The word has the wrong connotations for me

Re: A Guide To Internet Boutique Watch Brands
sometimes they have interesting articles, but i find them to be a little narrowly focused, in general. their "top" lists seem to be very personal lists, not any kind of "this is generally accepted in the world of horology" list. which is fine if you're writing your blog as an individual, but not as much when it's supposed to be part of a bigger picture like it seems they're intending.
the "g" is for Greg...
