I just received my first CH Ward watch today and I love it! I ordered the C8 Pilot Black and it's even more beautiful in person than in pictures!
One question I have... on my Tag watch, when I would twist the crown in the closed position, it would stop twisting at some point which would indicate it was "locked". On my C8, it continues to twist. I just want to make sure this is expected behavior of the crown and that it's actually locked and safe for operation. Hopefully this makes sense!
Thanks in advance for any help!
...Josh

Re: Question on crown locking on C8 Pilot
Welcome to "The Asylum"! Congratulations on the C8...a lovely watch.
The C8 does not have a screw down crown. Just make sure it is pushed in all the way. Most Tag Heuers do have screw down crowns and although many CWL models have them too, the C8 is not one that does.
When the crown is "twisting" when pushed in you are actually winding the watch.

Welcome Josh.
The non-screw down crown is one of the reasons I like my C8 and C11. You just pick it up and give the crown a few twists to get the watch going; as opposed to having to unscrew the crown, pull it out one notch and then twist.
Enjoy!
