I fancy more of the gold (or tarnish! :shock: ) is showing through the black of the dial, so the dial is looking more brown and less marbled now, compared to when I first got it.

Thanks, Leo David, except that it's a Universal Geneve Polerouter Deluxe with microtor movement. :D

As for cars, I'm not sure I could recognise the make just from a little glimpse of the gearbox area!

I like my car, but this was how I arrived at my choice:
Was it time to replace my old car? Check.
Did this one look good, fit my personality, have a certain presence? Check.
Within budget? OK.
Was it a comfortable drive? Was fuel economy respectable, all things considered? Check.
