That would tie in with a faster % increase in the USA...Kip wrote:Btw.....I meant that 20% of new sales were in the USA.
Interesting - and I guess that will over time (hopefully) shift the other way as the USA is so much bigger a market...
It will be interesting also to see what happens in China with the new push there

I wonder if the dollar v pound currency exchange rate has influenced the sale of CWL watches over time?akirk wrote:That would tie in with a faster % increase in the USA...Kip wrote:Btw.....I meant that 20% of new sales were in the USA.

Re: Possible US store or office based on volume
Thanks Alasdair for all your calculations. I was trying to assess the difference in churn between the US and UK. Kips latest figure of 4000 annual sales in the US indicates a far lower rate reselling in the States. Incidentally you will have noticed a JH being sold at an opening bid of £999 after 3 weeks of ownership!akirk wrote:That would tie in with a faster % increase in the USA...Kip wrote:Btw.....I meant that 20% of new sales were in the USA.

Re: Possible US store or office based on volume
If we are going to do accurate comparisons then we have to allow for the 'Kip' effect - that ust slow down the average churn in the USA
