Alternative strap for Deep Blue Orient Mako

Post by RosscoEvs »

Due to such good reviews on here about Orient Mako's, I've taken the plunge and purchased myself one, my only concern is I'm not a fan of bracelet straps, so I was wondering whether you guys could recommend an alternative strap for this watch. Also, could someone recommend some good tools for the changing job, I'm a real amateur at all this!!!

I'd be very grateful for some advise,

Hi Rossco,

The Bergeon 6767F is the watch tool of choice for many.
Strap wise, maybe a Maratac ?

I've got mine on a Hirsch (there's a thread somewhere about Seiko Monsters and Orients with pics).
It's a bit extreme as the strap cost about half as much as the watch, but it looks good to me.

I've got my blue orient ray on a hirsch blue carbon fiber strap like the one below. Looks awesome.

I don't have a pic handy, but this search will show you other makos on that strap.
