C3 MkI Blue Alligator (don't laugh)

Post by hwc »

Ha, ha. So you might wonder who the heck would buy the C3 with the blue fake alligator strap. So, I'll confess, it was me:

There is a method to this madness and it probably doesn't include wearing the blue strap very often. Maybe to an ice cream parlor or something. I already have a black and a tan fake alligator strap for a C3, so there wasn't much point in getting another one of those. I also have some other straps that I thought would look awesome on this watch:

The CWL tan strap from my C10:

A brown rally strap that I never thought worked that well with my black C3, but looks fantastic with the cream dial:

A brown Crown & Buckle:

And, the steel bracelet. Looks almost too bling-y on the C3 black, but I really like this combo:

I didn't laugh, as I considered it myself! I think it looks fantastic on that C&B strap. Great pick up, well done.

The blue looks very cool. The brown almost looks red.

It's not quite as red as the photo makes it look, but it's definitely a reddish-tan color.

If you'd like sell the blue strap I'd be interested as I missed the watches in the sale.

Great photos looks really good. I have to confess I bought one too. I really like the C&B strap - any chance of a link to it?

Glad the C3 Mk1 is getting some love. I personally don't care for the cream much compared to the black I have. I also don't think the blue strap and the cream have any business being together, but it does work in an odd way. I think black and brown straps works best for the C3 in either color. It's a great watch which I wish was Auto.

The Crown & Buckle is their "Camden" model, but I think they have discontinued the brown version and now just have the black version. Here's a link to all of their 20mm straps that will fit a C3 MkI.
