Non CW of the Day
Re: Non CW of the Day
My silver dial (looks champagne-colour now with the patina) 1955 Bulova 23 is finally back from a full servicing!
In real life the uneven darker patina on the right side of the dial isn't that obvious.
Will post a few more pictures in the Vintage Gallery soon.

Got this in the post this morning, very impressed for the money. Strap is a bit hard but not the end of the world, and has a SS deployment clasp which is a bonus.

Crazy-Cut Bezel? Never heard that description before.

I found this site that sold the same watch a few years ago, with photos of the movement. I've now ordered a similar bracelet from ebay to replace the old Timex one I modified to fit it. Mine still has the original Bulova logo'd gold crown. All the scratches really show up in the photo more than real life. 34mm doesn't look too small actually.

For an afternoon of weeding and mowing, followed by grilling (lamb chops and filet).
